Man City play Man Utd in the FA Cup final on Saturday and we'll bring you live match updates in our dedicated blog.

Either Manchester City or Manchester United will lift the FA Cup trophy at Wembley on Saturday afternoon.

The Manchester derby will be played in a FA Cup final for the first time in history this weekend and both sides are desperate to win England's oldest cup competition, with more on the line than simply just bragging rights.

That's because City are in contention to win a treble after reaching the Champions League final and winning the Premier League, whilst United could win a domestic cup double for the icing on the cake of an impressive first year for Erik ten Hag.

Regarding the team news, Anthony Martial is unavailable after sustaining an injury against Fulham on the final day of the season, meanwhile Antony is a major doubt after sustaining an injury against Chelsea.

Manuel Akanji, Ruben Dias, Kevin de Bruyne and Jack Grealish were absent from City's final game of the season against Brentford due to fitness concerns but all four players are expected to be available for the final.

So, will Wembley be red or blue after the FA Cup final?

The best players do not always make for the best team, and despite his obvious limitations, it could be the perfect day for Fred. He is the only outfield player to have been included in every single squad this season, and despite his limited playing time, he has made a huge impact in the biggest matches. Ten Hag affectionately labelled him a ‘mosquito’ for his man-marking job on Frenkie de Jong back in February, a month after he had subdued Kevin de Bruyne in the home derby win. His energy and enthusiasm could be crucial

The goal machine

Erling Haaland has scored 52 goals in all competitions for Pep Guardiola's side this season and he could become the first ever Norwegian player to score in the FA Cup final today.

Some final appearances

It could be a day of farewells for United, and they hope the biggest goodbye is waved to City’s Treble hopes.

Harry Maguire isn’t expected to start, but could come on for his final appearance, while the likes of Wout Weghorst, Marcel Sabitzer and Fred might also never play for the club again.
